There is much confusion and uncertainty regarding the mare Bint Nura as it seems that Lady Anne Blunt's own journal entries contradict each other regarding the parentage of this mare. Al Khamsa gives the best information and states that very probably there were at least two daughters of Nura El Kebira, one a bay by Zobeyni and another grey also sired by Zobeyni. Given the passing of years, it is now impossible to state categorically the true breeding of this mare and hence, to be 100% accurate regarding her offspring.
