Overview

Blackie is a "rescue" Alpaca and not too much is know of his origins except who his father is. He came to our farm to be a buddy to Marchello. As might be expected he's rather skittery.

Details

Blackie came to us via Whirlwind Ranch who kindly rescued several animals from a location in Arkansas. The owners experienced ill health and one has passed away. Which of the mommies was Blackie's is unknown as is his birthdate. Only one male could have been his sire so we do have that info. The dams on the farm were sisters which makes it nearly impossible to determine which was his dam without a considerable cost. He will not do any breeding and will be a fiber boy. We treat him with tender, loving care and hope he will grow to trust us.
