Bred by Mr George H Ruxton, he was acquired by Lady Wentworth for Crabbet in 1946. A small individual standing just 14.2½ hands, he was quite beautiful and very compact with a spectacular action. He proved an influential sire at Crabbet. Sadly he died young from a twisted gut in 1963. He is famous as the sire of the "Heavenly Twins".
