When one looks at Farenhyte, it is obvious that this is a horse descended from generations of greatness. The embodiment of Kuhailan type, he has subtle, striking Arabian features, large kind eyes, long shapely neck, a well-set tail carried high with pride, and balanced conformation with substance, functionality and awesome power. His progeny all carry their sire's incredible athleticism, with powerful motion driven by a powerful hindquarters, fluid movement and free moving shoulder. There is no question when looking at his heritage where his athleticism comes from. His incredible Polish pedigree is a veritable who's who of legendary Arabians, from his sire Algomej back to his desert-bred ancestors Kuhailan Haifi and esteemed mare Ukrainka. With royal ancestry that has been proven time and time again in show rings and race tracks around the globe, Farenhyte is a sure bet when breeding for your next great athlete! Farenhyte's sire Algomej was bred by Janow Podlaski, and stood at stud in Poland for a number of years before he was trade/leased to Sweden in exchange for Probat. While in Sweden, Algomej was named 1982 Swedish National Champion Stallion. He left many excellent offspring there, including Blommerod’s stallion, Algorytm. Algomej returned to Poland from Sweden, and in 1985 he was named Reserve Polish National Champion Stallion. In addition to the stallion Algorytm, Farenhyte's paternal half-siblings include Deficyt, who sold for $609,000, Algonkian, owned by Joe Malloy, Epizod, Estyma ($535,000), Ejnia, and the excellent producing mare, Elleida. Fellana, Farenhyte's dam, is full sister to the mare Cometera, who sold at public auction in the early 80’s for almost two million dollars. Fellana is of ethereal quality and type, possessing her sires beautiful bone structure, large dark eyes, and regal presence. When one looks to her sire, it is obvious that greatness can be expected from his heirs. Polish breeding legend Bandos was a great-grandson of the immortal Skowronek. Regally-bred, he was the best son of "the Legend of Poland" - Bandola - and of international Sire of Significance Negatiw. With a race record in Poland of 2/12 (3-0-3-3), he began his career with promising success, and Poland as well as the rest of the world has not been disappointed. In his time, Bandos has received such honorable titles as Polish Prestige All-Time High Seller, Polish Nationals Leading Sire, andPolish Leading Racehorse Sire before his sale to Ventura Farms for $806,000 in 1982. The get of *BANDOS have been exceptional performers in-hand, under saddle and on the race track. He sired 18 stallions and 76 mares, 7 of his sons used in poland along with 39 of his daughters. His daughters are highly valued, distinguished by their outstanding elegance. He is the sire of Pentoda (out of Piewica) who is the dam of Penicilyna (by Palas) who sold for $1,500,000 at the Polish Ovation '85, Elbana (out of Elka) sold for $700,000, Arra (out of Arba) who won the Triple Crown, as well she was 1982 European and 1986 Polish national Champion Mare, and Energia (out of Engracja), European National Mare who sold for $750,000. Farenhyte descends from a most famous Polish line to which many valuable stallions and mares originated. This family should be ranked first because of its impact on the Polish pure stock breeding. During the inter war period the most precious of this line was the stallion Ofir, son of Kuhailan Haifi O. A. imported in 1931 from Arabia. After World War II, his sons Witraz and Wielki Szlem were the most active in Polish breeding. Witraz being more Arab like of typical Kuhailan-Seglawi type and Wielki Szlem being bigger framed of typical Kuhailan type. During the German occupancy of Poland, Witraz was the leading sire at Janow, after the War at Albigowa his worth to Polish breeding become immense. The irreplaceable blood of Kuhailan Haifi O.A. continues to have a very large influence upon the Arabian breed.
