Details
Originally named 'Palmyra', she was purchased by Wilfred and Lady Anne Blunt in Aleppo in January 1878. Often referred to as the "Journey Mare", she was ridden by Wilfred Blunt from Aleppo to Baghdad and then on to Damascus and was exported to Crabbet in 1878. She was purchased by Miss E Dillon when she founded her stud in September 1886 and was given to Mr HC Stephens in 1898. She died in 1898.
