Overview

Jolly was adopted (as a rescue) in 2006. Our best estimates put his birth date at 2000 or 2001. He weighs 15.5 lbs and has the typical disposition and other qualities of the Bichon.

Details

Jolly usually appears "happy", especially on days when the whole family is at home. He tolerates our year-old son, who enjoys pushing Jolly out of his bed, or petting him in the typical toddler fashion; the most Jolly does in response is walk away. The Bichon is a great breed. Jolly does not shed fur, nor does he get smelly like a lot of other breeds. Despite warning from the experts about Bichon intensive grooming needs, Jolly only requires grooming quarterly and bathing monthly. He eats like a pig, even when he's been sick, but stays small and active.
