*Marwan Al Shaqab is the son of 2005 U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion, Gazal Al Shaqab (Anaza El Farid x Kajora by Kaborr) out of the 1990 Canadian National Champion Futurity Filly and 1991 U.S. Reserve National Champion Western Pleasure Junior Horse, Little Liza Fame (Fame VF x Katahza by Aza Destiny). Foaled in 2000, he was World Champion Colt and Qatari National Champion Colt as a yearling. At two he was again World Champion Colt and added Nations Cup Champion Colt and European Champion Colt to his credentials. In 2003 and 2005 he was unanimous U.S. National Champion Junior Halter Stallion. Though no stranger to the Leading Sire listing, *Marwan Al Shaqab has begun to feature prominently as a Leading Halter Sire at the U.S. National Championships. At the 2009 Scottsdale Show, *Marwan Al Shaqab sons and daughters won four champion-ships, a reserve championship and 33 Top Ten titles, in addition to seven first place, five second place and one sixth place awards. All of the prizes were in Halter competition except the sixth place ribbon which went to OFW Balvenie (x OFW Balarina) in Western Pleasure Junior Horse (3 & 4-Year-Old).
