Overview
RIP and Godspeed, Mishaah (1993-2013). A great show and breeding stallion, loved and cared for in his last years by his original breeders the Markoffs.
Details
MISHAAH is a stallion with an extraordinary pedigree. There are 22 producers of National winners in the first 5 generations of his pedigree, which features three lines to U.S. National Champion Stallion *BASK++, one of the breed’s all-time leading sires of champions. Both of Mishaah’s grandsires, GG JABASK and BEY SHAH, are U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallions with their own unique achievements as sires. GG JABASK sired more champions than any other *BASK++ son and BEY SHAH is one of the breeds leading sires of halter champions. The dam lines in MISHAAH’S pedigree are as exceptional as the sire lines. His sire traces, in tail female, to ALOUMA, dam of 6 champions and 5 National winners. His dam traces, in tail female, to RASWIA, dam of 3 producers of National winners. The Kellogg Ranch bred both ALOUMA and RASWIA, a breeding program noted for the athleticism of its horses. His tail female line traces back to the Spanish foundation mare ZULOIMA, a dam line that he shares with four U.S. National Champion Mares. MISHAAH is by JK SPARTAN, a sire of halter and performance winners including multi-regional Sweepstakes Champion HI FYNANCE and U.S. Reserve National Champion Country Pleasure and Canadian Top Ten Country Pleasure horse, ALA SORTAN. JK SPARTAN’S daughters are proven broodmares for ALEXANDRA ARABIANS. LADY LARISSA is 3 for 3. Three champion foals! Winning colt by VERSACE, winning filly by PADRON PYSCHE and gorgeous colt by MAGNUM PSYCHE KASANDRAA followed in her sister’s footsteps with a winning filly by SHAH AZIM and a winning colt by ZABREZ, a wonderful stallion owned by Noel Carroll. CHELCY had a beautiful filly by RED HAWK in 2007. MISHAAH has more than proven that he is a SIRE of SIGNIFICANCE. His personal accomplishments proved to the ARABIAN industry and his breeders that he was special, something we knew from the moment he hit the ground. Not only has his many get proven themselves in both the halter and performance arena, his grand get are now confirming that MISHAAH has more than earned the right to be called a SIRE of SIGNIFICANCE. MISHAAH has made a full circle. His journey was bitter sweet. He left us a beautiful young colt and he has returned to us a magnificent stallion. The road home was sometimes very rugged, but he is home now and we see in his soft brown eyes that he knows he is where he belongs and that he will live out his life, loved and respected by those that care for him.
