Mommy Goat is a perfect name for the matriarch of this tiny herd of 3. (soon to be 4) She sets the rules and makes sure they are obeyed. She came to us in August of 2010 before we ever registered as a farm.

Mommy Goat is a beautifully marked black and white Nigerian Dwarf goat. We don't know exactly how old she is but we figure either 7 or 8 ?? She came to us from Hoppy Aidens Farm just as it was closing. We know she had at least three babies because we have two and were told about the third. She is quite bossy and still makes her daughters obey her orders. But what would we do without her to run our lives? Recently she has discovered a love of crackers and will do just about anything to get one. This helps alot because I'm training her to climb into a milk stand which we are hoping to use next Spring. Good thing I have quite a few months to practice because she's a challenge.
