After the partition of the stud In 1906, she was retained by Lady Anne Blunt and produced 21 foals (the last at age 27). A major broodmare influence, it is reported that Lady Anne Blunt described her as a "perfect brood mare". She was put down on September 12th 1913. The General Stud Book records Dajania was covered by "multiple sires" in 1884, this being Proximo and Hadban. However, records indicate that Proximo was infertile and Hadban is widely believed to be her sire.
