Overview
Pebbles came after I deployed as Sage got upset while I was away. So she became his baby. She became his little princess. At 7 months old she was my horses love. He would protect his baby from one of the next door neighbors horses. Just a sweet heart.
Details
Pebbles has become our most favorite lesson horse at three years old. She was taught from the ground on how to steer and then taking a saddle was easy. We are into no stress no harsh training methods. She started under saddle when she was ready. She would be ponied by her boy and we would go out on trails. She took the saddle without any problems didn't fully take a rider until 2.5 yrs old. Children are lighter but I would never have thought to put a young one on a young horse. She showed me an affinity for working with the young at such a young age. She worked with my mom who doesn't know how to ride but to her that is her human mom. She would call to her if Sage wasn't to be seen she would run to the house and call at the door. Maybe mom had a help in it. Mom wanted to ride her baby. I wasn't too keen on it but figured as long as she was okay with it I would allow mom to get on. Mom got on and I was impressed she took care of what she was doing. Mom did fall off her onto her neck. Pebbs got alot of cookies when she sat there while I helped mom. She then started to ride the neighbors kids and a real lesson at nearly three. I had one of my best friends who trains classicly and was impressed of a video she saw of her with a child. She acted like a 20 yr old. She isn't broke I promise. Anyone who meets her can see she loves to be a baby when she can she is just a big big love with a huge heart.
