Acquired by Miss GM Yule for Hanstead Stud in 1940 when reductions were being made in the numbers at Crabbet due to the War (it is reported that later, Lady Wentworth greatly regretted selling him). He remained at Hanstead Stud for the duration of his life and was probably the most influential stallion used there. A compact horse with a fine action, he proved to be the best son of Faris. He also sired some very good Anglo's.
