Details
Described in the Crabbet stud catalogue as a 'black' chestnut. A compact individual standing 14.3½ hands. During an interchange of stock which existed at one time between Crabbet and Hanstead Stud, Lady Wentworth exchanged Rissam for Raktha in 1939. Four years later he was purchased back and ended his days at Crabbet where he made the most of his limited opportunities as a sire.
