Original Arabian - Saudi Arabia Seglawi-ardzebi was bred by the Ruala Bedouin. He was purchased in 1858 for Prince Roman Sanguszko the Elder for use at Chrestowka and Slawuta Studs - Poland, owned by his family. The purchase was made by stud officials of the Prince, Swierczynski and Czerniawski. He was the sire of 8 purebred Arabian foals: 3 at Slawuta - 1859-1861 and 5 at Chrestowka 1862-1864.
