Details
Originally named 'Silver Moonshine', he was purchased by Mrs ADD Maclean for Fenwick Stud and exported to Australia in 1952 where he became their foundation sire. He was sold by the Queensland Agricultural College to Andrew Sharf and exported to the USA at the age of 20 but sadly died soon after his arrival. A twelfth foal standing 14.2 hands, he was highly strung and difficult to handle. He sired 88 purebred foals in Australia and the USA and died on November 2nd 1969 from colitis.

Silver Moonlight won many prizes in the showring including 1st and Reserve Champion, Melbourne Royal 1951, 1st Sydney Royal 1952, 1st and Champion, Melbourne Royal 1954 and Champion Brisbane Royal 1961.
