Bouvier des Flandres

Bouvier des Flandres

Dog

The Bouvier des Flandres is a herding dog breed originating in Flanders. They were originally used for general farm work including cattle droving, sheep herding, and cart pulling, and nowadays as guard dogs and police dogs, as well as being kept as pets. The French name of the breed means, literally, "Cow Herder of Flanders", referring to the Flemish origin of the breed.

Welcome to Pedegru Dalmar. Don't hesitate to let me know when you have questions. I'm one of the administrators at Pedegru. There's a lot here and hunting is almost the best part. Since your Member page is like a website feel free to pack it with information about you and your program. Animal Profiles are just as info rich and have exciting tools/features like Showcase marketing, Pedigrees, and unlimited room for images and lots of room for text. The pedigrees are the best on the web, and, as members build the database rankings on Google have taken off primarily because everything on Pedegru is searchable - including the pedigrees. A video on our YouTube channel will show you a lot more. #4 is the best place to start. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL788FF4135BBAA7D3&;;;;;;;;feature=plcp . Enjoy the site. Rob
