Comisana
Sheep
The Comisana (also known as Lentinese, Red Head, Testa rossa and Faccia rossa) is a breed of domestic sheep from Italy and specifically Sicily. It is a composite breed from the 19th century to early 20th century of the local Maltese and Sicilian. This is a wool breed but is primarily raised for milk. The Comisana has loppy ears and both sexes are polled (hornless). The face is reddish brown. The body is white (unicolored).
