Pet Portraits by Deena offers hand-painted commissioned portraits of your beloved pets. Whether your pet is still with you, or has passed away, an original portrait makes a wonderful gift and memento. I specialize in dogs and cats, but can paint any type of animal. The style is realistic, a bit impressionistic, and my love of animals shows with the capture of the animal's essence. Background colors can be customized and multiple pets can be combined into one painting. These portraits make great gifts for animal lovers, or as a special commemoration of a departed pet. My goal is to provide my clients with the best possible portrait of their pets, something they will cherish forever. I would love to do a portrait of your pet. All I need is a digital photo e-mailed to me, one of a pose that you like, with good color and lighting. You may send more than one photo, and we can discuss which would make the best portrait. Extra photos have come in handy when the favorite pose has the animal’s ears cut out of the frame - I just copy the shape of the ears from another photo! Maybe another photo has better color - I take the best from them to make your portrait.
