Our heart go out to you Jim as we are certainly all on a shared experience with Arabians and understand so well the joys and pain. Such a blessing to know these animals, pets, friends, and help them through life as they do us. So sorry for your loss and so grateful for the new life she's shared with you too. Know that we are here body and soul for you and are all grateful for everyone who cares as we do for our pets.

Jim Robbins:

Thank-you, thank-you and thank-you even more for the outpouring of condolences and kind words on the passing of Blyss. I usually try to thank every person who responds to a post individually, but with work and time (and energy left in old age) constraints this goes out to our Arabian horse family both near and far. With a hungry foal that needs fed every 2 hours, the two "old guys" that take care of him are starting to feel pretty exhausted. The plus side is, the little guy is drinking his bottles like a champ, he's up and happy and full of life.

We've found the perfect "baby-sitter" for him in LC Araan, Tim's 9 year old stallion who is in the stall next door and dotes over him constantly. This speaks volumes for the amazing disposition our breed has, since Araan is a 9 year old stallion who's never been around foals in his life! When the little guy naps by the stall wall, Araan hangs his head and neck over the wall, watching over him, until he wakes up. He also has his own pony, a big stuffed horse that was a gift from Kalea Lopes and her grandma, Debbie Waite.

Here's his first picture on FB by one of his sleep deprived owners, starting to look like a real baby now despite being down on his pasterns still and his legs going every which way. He got his dad's sparking personality and conformation and from his late mother, he got her huge Spanish eyes and grey color. No name yet, but we're open to suggestions and again, thanks for being there for us when we needed it most!

She is a really stunning mare, Jim. How many get has she had? There may be a couple on the site here, there are quite a few Arabians on Pedegru now, but if not would love to see a couple if you're inclined. If there are any here you would just have to go to their pedigrees and just select the parents. Also beautiful photography. Is that your doing?
