The Yellow-crested Manakin (Heterocercus flavivertex), also called Yellow-crowned Manakin, is a species of bird in the Pipridae family, the Manakins. It is found in the Amazon Basin of Brazil and Colombia; also the Orinoco River and southern Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
