The Szegediner Highflier is a breed of fancy pigeon developed over many years of selective breeding. Szegediner Highfliers, along with other varieties of domesticated pigeons, are all descendants from the Rock Pigeon (Columba livia). The breed belongs to the Flying/Sporting Pigeons group.
