The Booted goat breed from the St. Gallen and Glarus cantons in Switzerland is a very rare Swiss mountain goat which is adapted to high altitudes and extreme weather conditions.
Breeders are currently working to improve its milk, meat, and fleece-producing qualities to repopularize and increase its numbers in Switzerland.
