The Angora goat (Turkish: Ankara keçisi) is a breed of domestic goat that originated in Ankara, Turkey (the name "Angora" being a corruption of "Ankara"), and its surrounding region in central Anatolia. Angora goats produce the lustrous fibre known as Mohair.
