Suri
Llama
Suri llama fibre is one of the longest and most lustrous animal fibres available and the primary identification for a Suri Llama are its long locks and a fleece which hangs nearly down to the ground forming a natural midline part from the neck to the tail. These straight, or curled, narrow locks form close to the skin and maintain a uniform profile to the tips. The long smooth staple differs from other llama fibers because of its lack of crimps and Suri fibers grow in long, wavy, twisted or straight locks which move independently. The tactile appeal of the fiber comes from its cool and smooth feel with fine micron and little medulation. Many thanks to Keep the Fleece
